I cannot recommend Nick or Cane enough (or their crew) enough!! Several weeks ago, my in-laws started out on a landscaping journey that quickly escalated into a yard-nightmare. The original contractor came in and completely revamped nearly all of the yard. Backhoes, cement trucks, masonry, and more were all being done at the same time. As the original contractor was rounding the corner toward the end of the project, he explained to my father-in-law that they were just there for hardscaping and that the yard itself was not part of their responsibility; and by yard I mean giant mud pits. You see, the heavy machinery and the excavation completely wiped out any form of grass that used to be there. The situation became so tumultuous that the family got to spend a night in the hospital following some stress induced heart "episodes" that my father-in-law had. So, the rest of the family decided to find someone else to step in and do what the original contractor was not going to, and after a quick Google search (as I am sure some of you reading this have done) we found Green Ventures Landscaping. I was beyond surprised when I called, and Nick (the owner) answered. He listened to everything that was going on, and then quickly scheduled a time to walk the property and assess the situation. Long story short, Nick, Cane, and the crew, absolutely saved the day!! they were in just a couple of days after the first contractor cleared out (the days were more a result of the weather and not GVL). They completed nearly everything in 2 days (including grading some areas for better drainage). The crew were extremely polite and respected my in-laws and their property. Now for the best part of all, besides the fact that everyone in the family is over the moon with the new sod work, but the original contractor refunded more than enough money since we were able to use GVL to obtain the new topsoil and finish up the grading, that it completely covered the cost of using GVL.... That's right, Green Ventures Landscaping provided better and faster service AND saved us money! You cannot go wrong with these guys, they are great upstanding people who value business relationships, faith, and family. Not only will I continue to reach out to them in the future for ALL of our landscaping needs, but I can assure you that our entire family will as well. Thank you to Nick, Cane, and the rest of the crew for giving us such a great experience, providing wonderful work, and being willing to step in where another company fell short! You guys are definitely the best!
Nicolas and his crew were top notch from start to finish. My project was out of state and he made multiple trips, did everything he quoted and the workmanship was the best of the best, highly recommend him to anyone.
I have used Green Ventures for 2 separate projects now. One was for our irrigation system for our lawn and flower beds. We were very pleased with their work so we hired them for a landscaping project one year later. Nick and his team were professional and responsive from the beginning through the end of the project. Nick is very trustworthy, he and his team do quality work and are very respectful. I would highly recommend them.
Very honest people. Cain told us what need to be done and followed through with the job thoroughly and was right on it! The guys showed up on time and worked hard all day to do a perfect job. They were very polite and cleaned up their mess. Everything looked Perfect! We would recommend this company to anyone and we will definitely use them again. I have to say the Biggest Plus is that Cain was there when you needed him and always answered his phone. These days thats hard to find.
Nick with Green Ventures guided us through an extensive outdoor renovation project with the steady and caring hands of a skilled expert. He thought of every aspect of our project from design to completion and made sure we were educated about every step from a practical and financial perspective. Because of this, there were no surprises when it was time to pay for the work. I was impressed with the punctuality, efficiency, and professionalism of this entire crew. Satisfied is not a strong enough work for the experience. I would recommend Green Ventures to ANYONE who wants a great experience with a landscaping professional.
We struggled for the longest time with water getting into our basement. Nick @ Green Ventures looked at our problem with a custom solution that not only stopped the drainage issue, but provided functionality and aesthetics to our outdoor space. We went through countless other companies that tried to overcharge or provide a stock solution that wasn’t going to help at all. I used to wake up at night every time it rained and now I sleep like a baby!
My back yard is now lush and beautiful. It just makes me feel good to look out there everyday and see it so green and full. I appreciate the hard work of the guys who came out and got it all done in one day. They worked hard for sure. I appreciate the communication efforts put forth from initial estimate to finished work. Also, I didn’t pay until the job was done and pleasing to me. That was nice. I’m officially a fan of choosing sod over seeding. Great job Green Ventures!

The team from Green Ventures did a total renovation of our “blank slate” backyard. Pergola, water feature, plantings, hardscape as well. Great communication from start to finish, quality materials and amazing results cannot recommend them more highly. A wonderful result at a reasonable price.

Nick and his team installed French drain and swale along with rerouting gutters to buried piping system and connecting sump pump to same. Our backyard no longer floods and storm water is managed. Very happy with outcome!

These guys transformed our back yard from bare grass to an outdoor oasis in 8 working days. Rock walking paths, waterfall, pergola, plants, sprinklers and a patio. Hard working and polite team. Great communication and super responsive.

Nick came up with a great design. He custom built a sturdy flower box to attach to my railing. I like the fact that you don’t pay until fully satisfied. I would recommend him for your landscaping, we would use them again.

Green Ventures did an AMAZING job with the landscaping in our yard. If I could give them a 10+ rating, I would! Nicholas listened to what we wanted to accomplish and provided feedback and advice on everything with the why we could or shouldn't based on our property, sun exposure and sizes of plants. Also we wanted low maintenance, perennial plantings and alternating blooms for beauty the entire growing season and that was well thought out and was taken into consideration. Green Ventures did an awesome job on our yard. Our yard was very uneven as the developer in our subdivision didn’t bother to remove large rocks or construction debris before installing sod. Green Ventures removed a truckload of debris, put in a sprinkler system, leveled the yard, put in good topsoil and then sodded. Phil Heimer and Cain made sure that we were happens took care of the couple of small issues that popped up. I highly recommend them.
We just signed with Green Ventures and they completed our first service - a massive yard cleanup! The guys worked hard and did a wonderful job. Really thrilled to have found a reasonable, thorough lawn service!
Green Ventures Landscaping did an amazing job on some landscaping my neighbor and I were splitting between our homes. I’m glad Phil had a vision because I wouldn’t have imagined it could look so nice. I also had another tree added to my front yard. Chris and his team did the installation and they were excellent. They were very professional and I count be happier with what they planted. In fact, I have another project in mind for them now!

The entire team at Green Ventures did an outstanding job with several thousand dollars worth of work beautifying our front yard with new stonework, cleaning up and sealing a long neglected driveway, and removing old dying plants and prepped the ground for our new plants coming in. They were reasonably priced, always on time, and courteous in every way while at our home. Could not have been more pleased with the experience. We will be going back to them for more yard projects we have planned.

Simply stated, Green Ventures is a "must hire". Nick is absolutely amazing to work with. I originally sought multiple bids for the installation of a lawn irrigation system. Of the companies that came out, Nick identified drainage and other concerns that were resulting in ponding. He offered viable solutions with very reasonable pricing. The work not only started on time, but ahead of anticipated schedule. Installation crew was very professional and fully considerate of our needs as its customer. Green Ventures truly offers distinctive service, and I will definitely use it for all my landscaping needs. Thank you Nick, Caine and crew for a job very well done!!
Nick and his team are such wonderful people and great to work with. They were on time. Worked very hard installing my irrigation system and lighting around my whole house. They were so professional and worked hard to make sure I was very happy, and you couldn’t hardly tell my grass had been disturbed. We had extremely rough dirt and rock everywhere with slopes and drainage issues. Nick immediately responded to us and provided us solutions to all our backyard issues. Nick and his team performed an excellent job in grading, fixing drainage issues and installing sod. Nick and his hard working team’s finished results turned our totally messed up yard into a forever beautiful backyard. Green Ventures is my go-to lawn maintenance, landscaping, and hardscaping needs, whether its sod, irrigation, designing patio, outdoor kitchen, fire pits, etc. Owner is hands on and upfront which sets the right expectation regarding cost and/or feasibility. His staff is respectful of my property and my neighbors when working on projects.

Cain and his crew just finished putting in 24 Emerald Greens, and they look amazing! I actually asked for "Green Giants" out of confusion. The owner, Nick, took them back and got what I wanted! When they were done, they cleaned the area up like they were never there! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Our new home needed more landscaping than what the builder allowed. We worked with Nick to approve a plan to move some existing shrubs, add new and more attractive greenery, trees and some pavers. Nick Mangrum is an awesome guy. He is very knowledgeable and he is always there to answer any questions I may have regarding the landscaping he put into our home 5 years ago. We also had him add large trees this year and he and his crew were great. I have been a customer of Nick’s for a long time. He also did my sprinkler system and does the yearly maintenance including winterizing, overseeing and aeration when needed and booking up sprinkler in the spring. I would highly recommend him and his work is excellent.
Nick and his team did an amazing job transforming my yard this year. Just had a pool install and had lost my front yard to heat and him and his team helped design & install a beautiful yard for my home. They have been awesome to work with from the beginning and he’s even checked up on the yard 3 months & 6 months after the install to ensure everything was still looking great! Used quality plants/sod that have been able to weather the TN heat/drought of 2022. Great company to work with and my neighbors have hired him since after seeing my yard!

Excellent quality and customer service. We just moved into the area, acquiring a large yard (for us) in the process. We have had some issues with prior trees that were planted, and also issues with irrigation. Phil and his team have been quick to address our needs, give us many options and we expect to be working with them for a very long time! Our yard continues to look stunning!
